Alexander: Month Ten

• Is a walking baby now. Never crawls anymore. 
• Is down to two naps a day now. And then a week after transitioning to two naps a day, has started to do one nap a day sometimes. On the days he has one nap, he is down for the night by seven thirty. And on the days he has two naps, depending on when he has his last nap, the latest he goes down is nine thirty. 
• Loves to push things around. Even if it won't move, it doesn't stop him from trying. And if something is small and light enough, loves to just carry it around in either his hand or mouth.
• Has started to fake cry when he doesn't get what he wants.
• Is now in twelve month clothing. 
• Is pretty good with going with the flow and adapting to it. 
• After three months of teething, FINALLY got four more. Two on the top and two more on the bottom for a total of six. 
• Started introducing table foods. Has tried spaghetti, frozen peas, cheerios, french fries, pancakes, and fettuccine alfredo and loves them. Tried eggs and wouldn't even put them in his mouth, couldn't get past the texture. 
• If you clap, he will clap back.
• Still HATES getting his diaper changed or getting dressed ninety percent of the time. 
• Celebrated his first Thanksgiving. Loved playing with one of Brandon's cousins, William.
• Pooped in the bathtub for the first time the other night.
• Met Santa for the first time and hated it. Haha. 

 Yes, he is sleeping on the floor of the car. And no, the car isn't moving. It was in park with no one even sitting in the driver's seat.

Alexander: Month Nine

• Loves the theme song from the TV show, Mom. Every time it starts to play, he'll stop doing whatever he's doing to look and listen. 
• Started to balance without holding onto anything for several seconds at a time. Which turned to him taking his first steps. Now countless times a day he gets up and takes several steps before falling down. By next month he will be full on walking. 
• Tried spaghetti noodles last month. 
• Gets the biggest smile on his face when Dan Abram, host of Live PD, is on TV.
• Tried quinoa and HATED it. 
• Still teethed most of the month and is SO CLOSE to two new teeth. Can basically seem them hiding beneath the gums. 
• Went to his first, "First Saturday" event in downtown Frederick that they do every first Saturday of each month. 
• Went as Harry Potter for his first Halloween. 
• Still HATES getting dressed and his diaper changed most of the time, but if daddy puts on music, he enjoys it.

Halloween 2019

Celebrated his first Halloween a few days early because I had to work on the actual day. We ended up going trick or treating at the mall which turned out to be a bigger event than we anticipated, so we've already decided for next year to just do the door to door trick or treating. Haha.

Summers Farm

Celebrated our anniversary by going to Summers Farm (which will now be a fall tradition) as a family and then out to dinner just Brandon and I at P.F Changs. Happy four year anniversary Brandon!

Alexander: Month Eight

Celebrating two milestones today. Alex turning eight months old and our four year wedding anniversary!

• Started to blow raspberries again.
• Is seriously the happiest baby, unless he's teething. Whenever we are out and about the two biggest comments from people are that he is super cute and so happy.
• Use to love the changing table. Now he hates it since he can't move around. Haha.
• Will laugh at anything.
• Started teething again this month, but no new teeth still.
• Can walk along furniture now so I wouldn't be surprised by next month if he's walking especially since we got a little activity walker to help.
• The only foods he doesn't like is prunes and spinach.
• Has two kinds of crawling; the normal way and then the monkey way. And both ways he's pretty fast at.
• Discovered the stairs and can climb up them. From the very start he has been fast at it. I once looked away for thirty seconds to get a drink and the next thing I hear is him at the top of the stairs. So definitely time for a gate.
• Learned how to clap.
• Climbs up on everything.
• Got to meet some of my coworkers at my new job location.
